Description

Join a team responsible for database security. You will support the organization with security alert analysis, activity monitoring, and risk management related to data and database security. The role includes investigating SQL logs, monitoring privileged accounts, improving security controls, and contributing to compliance with GDPR, DORA, and PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security alerts and identify suspicious activity within databases

• Investigate SQL logs and assess potential security risks

• Monitor user activity and privileged accounts

• Assess risks related to database security

• Support the implementation and improvement of security controls

• Support compliance with GDPR, DORA, and PCI DSS

• Create and develop security monitoring and detection rules

• Support automation of security monitoring and analysis processes

Requirements

• Experience in Cyber Security / Database Security

• Practical ability to analyze security alerts and identify suspicious activity

• Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, access management, and privileged accounts

• Knowledge of database security concepts

• Understanding of Risk & Compliance and security controls

• Knowledge of data security regulations and requirements, especially GDPR, DORA, PCI DSS

• English at B2/C1 level

Nice to have

• Experience with Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), especially IBM Guardium or similar

• Knowledge of detection mechanisms and monitoring rule creation

• Practical knowledge of Python, PowerShell, REST API, or SOAR solutions

• Experience in automating security-related processes
