Description

Join an IT team to help manage, operate, and further develop a cloud and virtualization environment. You will administer Hyper-V, monitor availability/stability/performance of cloud services, resolve incidents, support users, and manage identities, access, and security policies. You will also contribute to automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the virtualization platform (Hyper-V)

• Monitor uptime, stability, and performance of cloud services

• Investigate and resolve incidents and technical problems

• Communicate with users and help fulfill their requests

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies

• Work with Active Directory, DNS, and GPO

• Manage identities and access, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, and MFA

• Participate in automation and efficiency improvements of IT processes

• Collaborate on further development of the cloud and virtualization environment

Requirements

• Prior experience administering IT infrastructure and ability to work independently

• Experience with Hyper-V and virtualized environments

• Knowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID

• Orientation in identity management (SSO, MFA, user accounts, permissions)

• At least basic knowledge of PowerShell or another scripting language

• Orientation in networking technologies (DNS, VPN, firewalls)

• Ability to find root causes and drive solutions to completion

• Independence, reliability, and willingness to bring own ideas

• Professional and pleasant communication with colleagues and clients
