Description

You will actively develop the organization’s cloud architecture based on Microsoft Azure, advising IT and other business areas on cloud technology topics while considering regulatory requirements. You will support and contribute to cloud migration and implementation projects, including taking on project and partial project leadership. You will also collaborate in architecture committees and working groups, work with cloud providers, and support revision/audit activities and the IT year-end review.

Responsibilities

• Content and architectural further development of the cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure
• Advisory support for IT and other departments on cloud topics with regulatory considerations
• Active participation in cloud migrations/implementations; may include project/partial project leadership
• Support for changes driven by increasing cloud usage across technical and non-technical topics (e.g., processes and tools)
• Active participation in or leadership of bank architecture committees and group working groups
• Collaboration and partner management with cloud providers
• Support during revision checks, audits, and the IT annual financial statement review

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a technical/scientific (MINT) degree program
• Multi-year, solid professional experience in IT or consulting (preferably in banking or insurance)
• Proven, hands-on knowledge and practice in planning, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructures (preferably in the context of BAIT)
• Experience in the technical conception of requirements for IT systems and services
• Strong affinity for modern IT technologies
• Knowledge and practice in architecture and project management
• Ability to actively work through (bank) domain content and derive the necessary implications
• Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit
