Description

You will create and maintain test scenarios and execute manual testing, including exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing, for web-based systems and REST APIs. You will run tests in pre-production environments, document and report defects clearly, and keep test status and reporting up to date. You will participate in test meetings and produce daily test reports.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify test scenarios

• Perform manual testing based on existing and prepared scenarios

• Conduct exploratory, functional, regression, and integration tests

• Test in pre-production environments

• Test WEBCON processes, dedicated web applications, and REST APIs

• Participate in meetings with developers and the client regarding testing

• Prepare daily test reports

• Maintain and update test lists and their statuses (e.g., in Excel or other reporting tools)

• Precisely report, describe, and document detected defects

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial manual testing experience (preferably 5+ years)

• Experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of tools for test management, bug reporting, and documentation (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)

• Knowledge of API testing tools, especially Postman

• Comfortable use of browser developer tools (logs, requests, cookies)

• Ability to create clear reports and summaries for both technical and business audiences

• Ability to describe defects precisely and unambiguously

• Communication and teamwork with developers and analysts

• Independence, engagement, and proactive approach

• Additional advantage: English for client communication (not required)

• Additional advantage: WEBCON or other low-code experience

• Additional advantage: Basic test automation knowledge (e.g., Selenium, C#)

• Additional advantage: Basic MS SQL knowledge
