Description

You will work in 1st and 2nd level support for customer IT infrastructures, handling incident management. In addition, you will support the design and implementation of managed service infrastructure to keep it robust, secure, and future-ready, while helping improve technical and organizational processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and configure networks, servers, and IT systems using standardized stacks (Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Set up, administer, and secure network environments using Unifi and Securepoint components, including VPN provisioning for remote users

• Operate and develop virtualization environments with Proxmox and Docker, and container orchestration with Kubernetes

• Develop and maintain automation scripts to optimize system processes (Bash, Python, PowerShell, T-SQL)

• Monitor system performance, analyze errors, and troubleshoot network or server incidents

• Collaborate in agile teams to continuously improve infrastructure and deliver new projects

Requirements

• Completed training as IT Systems Integration Specialist (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or comparable qualification

• Strong networking knowledge (VPN, TCP/IP, DNS) and experience with firewalls and security concepts

• Practical experience with virtualization technologies (Proxmox, Docker) and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of databases (MariaDB / PostgreSQL)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and SDLC processes

• Familiarity with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum)

• Programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python, shell scripting) is desirable
