Description

As a Senior Mobile Product Engineer, you will own and evolve the mobile app tracking architecture that powers behavioral tracking and experimentation across the brand portfolio. You will integrate and maintain tracking and experimentation SDKs (e.g., Snowplow, Statsig) across Android native and React Native layers to ensure consistent, reliable event capture. You’ll embed AI-driven workflows into platform tooling and operate what you build in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration and evolution of tracking and experimentation SDKs (Snowplow, Statsig, or equivalent) across Android native and React Native.
• Solve native mobile telemetry challenges such as lifecycle events, background sync, offline event buffering, and custom native bridges.
• Embed AI-driven workflows into platform tooling to improve automation and data quality.
• Improve engineering excellence through robust automated testing, rigorous error handling, and high-quality release practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data engineers to evolve the platform offering.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team-wide engineering standards.
• Own mobile customer quality metrics (retention, crash-free sessions, conversion).
• Instrument, monitor, and continuously improve systems in production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience with strong native depth, ideally Android (Kotlin).
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) used beyond casual experimentation.
• GenAI proficiency with practical understanding of how context and boundaries affect AI output.
• Focus on engineering excellence, reliable infrastructure design, and high-quality codebases.
• Experience building and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Track record of ownership in ambiguous, cross-functional environments across engineering, product, and data teams.
• Deep mobile expertise across the app release cycle, test automation, on-device performance, and platform UX conventions.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions and trade-offs.
