Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance native Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build store capture and transition steering solutions, integrating the Scandit scanning library.
• Implement robust state management with offline-first capabilities.
• Integrate REST APIs and event-driven architectures with Kafka backend services.
• Own technical decision-making, code reviews, testing standards, and performance tuning.
• Manage CI/CD release processes for Android.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on Android development with strong Kotlin expertise.
• Extensive experience building modern mobile UIs with Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of Coroutines, Flows, state management, and offline-first design patterns.
• Solid experience with Retrofit or Ktor, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Proven experience acting as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer, providing architectural direction and mentoring.
• Hands-on experience with unit/UI testing using JUnit and Espresso.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
