Description

Join a project focused on building and maturing a centralized Cloud Product Engineering capability on GCP. Standardize and simplify internal consumption of GCP native services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions) and develop reusable Terraform modules and patterns. Implement and manage GCP infrastructure for a data mesh architecture project with an AI stack focus, working closely with data engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Submit service and permission requests through the established JIRADesign process
• Design, configure, and maintain the GCP environment for the data mesh architecture project
• Collaborate with teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure scalability, security, and reliability
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automation using cloud-specific deployment models with GitHub Actions
• Create and maintain documentation for GCP infrastructure and deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve GCP technical issues and performance bottlenecks
• Follow standards, best practices, and established guides

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (compute, storage, networking, security)
• Proven experience designing and implementing GCP infrastructure using Terraform and GKE
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and Shell scripting
• Knowledge of Anthos Service Mesh / Istio, networking and firewall rules, and Helm charts
• Familiarity with GCP Monitoring and Logging
• Strong problem-solving and ability to troubleshoot complex issues promptly
• English level B2+ to communicate and collaborate with global teams
