Description

Build, integrate, and operate modern data pipelines in a Databricks lakehouse environment supporting analytics, risk, regulatory, and reporting. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data, implement ingestion from multiple source types, and perform transformation, validation, and quality checks. You’ll also support production operations, incident analysis, and performance optimization while ensuring governance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines

• Build and optimize lakehouse solutions for analytics, reporting, and regulatory needs

• Ingest data from databases, APIs, files, and messaging/event streams

• Perform data transformation, validation, and end-to-end quality checks

• Translate business requirements into data solutions with stakeholders

• Support production environments, perform incident analysis, and optimize performance

• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• 3–5 years of data engineering experience with Databricks

• Very strong Python, SQL, and PySpark

• Databricks experience (Delta Lake, DLT) and cloud lake/lakehouse architecture

• Azure experience (ADLS, Data Factory, Synapse) or equivalent cloud services

• Knowledge of Medallion architecture (Data Vault is a plus)

• Experience with REST APIs and both batch and streaming ingestion

• Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)

• Strong understanding of data quality, performance tuning, and scalability

• Exposure to banking, risk, regulatory reporting, or analytics platforms

• Very good English skills
