Description

You will build, integrate, and develop scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) used for analytics, risk, regulatory reporting, and business intelligence in the Financial Services and Investment Banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
• Build and optimize Data Lake/Lakehouse solutions
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, files, and event/streaming systems
• Transform, validate, and ensure end-to-end data quality
• Optimize pipeline and processing performance for large data volumes
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and platform teams
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models
• Support production environments and analyze incidents and performance issues
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and financial-sector regulations

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Project experience for the finance sector
• Strong Python, SQL, and PySpark
• Practical Databricks experience (Delta Lake; DLT is a plus)
• Experience with Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture
• Strong Azure knowledge: ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse (or similar services)
• Experience with data integration, transformation, and modeling
• Knowledge of Medallion architecture and dimensional models
• Experience with REST API integration and batch + streaming processing
• Git and CI/CD; Azure DevOps experience (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of data quality, scalability, and performance tuning
• Agile/Scrum experience
• English B2–C1
• ASAP availability preferred; notice period acceptable up to end of month
• Ready to work 60% from the office in Wrocław or Poznań
