Description

You will design, develop, and optimize modern data solutions and data pipelines for major clients. The work includes building ETL/ELT processes, integrating data from multiple sources, and collaborating with data analysts and architects. You’ll also support data quality, data management, and topics such as Data Governance and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions and data pipelines

• Work with ETL/ELT processes, data flows, and data integration

• Contribute to the design and evolution of modern data platforms

• Optimize existing code and data processes

• Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and other project team members

• Work with cloud data services and modern data processing tools

• Contribute to data quality, data management, and data process configuration

• Optionally expand into Data Governance, metadata management, and data quality areas

Requirements

• Practical experience in data engineering

• SQL knowledge and experience working with data and database technologies

• Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT processes and data flows

• Ability to work with data solutions and propose appropriate technical approaches

• Cloud experience (ideally Azure) is an advantage

• Experience with Databricks or Microsoft Fabric is an advantage (or strong interest in developing here)

• Interest in data quality, Data Governance, and modern data platforms

• Czech/Slovak at native-speaker level and English at least B2
