Description

You will join a strategic transformation program to design and develop a Customer Master Data platform supporting Customer 360. The assignment is not a traditional database or reporting project—it's about system and integration solutions for customer data, including aggregation, consolidation, processing, and distribution at high availability and scale with strong security requirements. You will work closely with business and development teams to define requirements, resolve technical ambiguities, and communicate architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable solutions for core banking systems in the area of customer data and Customer 360

• Create solution architecture for aggregating, consolidating, processing, and sharing client data from multiple banking systems

• Analyze and select integration methods, including REST API, Kafka, event-driven communication, and legacy system integrations

• Design microservices-based, containerized solutions using OpenShift/Kubernetes

• Translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with the bank’s architectural principles

• Support developers by clarifying requirements, addressing technical uncertainties, and preparing materials for delivery teams

• Conduct architecture discussions with internal IT teams and external vendors

• Prepare architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical/functional specifications

• Participate in conceptual work, solution estimates, and corporate architecture modeling

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably in banking/financial services

• Experience designing central systems or customer data processing/data platforms in an enterprise environment

• Practical microservices architecture and event-driven communication experience

• Very good knowledge of system integration, especially REST API, Kafka, asynchronous/event-based communication, events, SOAP, OAuth2, OpenID/SAML

• Containerization experience, especially OpenShift and Kubernetes

• Relational database knowledge, especially Oracle, and SQL

• Strong Java/Spring Boot technical foundation to collaborate with development teams

• Experience with MDM, Customer 360, data quality, aggregation, deduplication, or conflict resolution is a plus

• Ability to create clear architecture documentation and diagrams (UML, BPMN, C4, HLD, LLD, ADR)

• Experience using architecture modeling tools; Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus

• Knowledge of different architecture models (monolith, microservices, SOA, Event-Driven Architecture)

• Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions and explain complex topics clearly

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
