Description

You will implement Salesforce Data Cloud in customer projects, from connecting data sources and modeling data to activating audiences in target systems. The job includes designing ETL/ELT processes, harmonizing identities, implementing privacy-compliant identity resolution and governance, and building segmentation and activation for journeys and marketing automation. You will also monitor data quality, support stable operations, and continuously bring Data Cloud best practices and new features into the team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Salesforce Data Cloud solutions end-to-end: data source integration, data modeling, and activation
  • Design ETL/ELT processes and model data streams; harmonize identities and ensure performance
  • Implement identity resolution, matching rules, and consent/privacy-compliant processing and governance
  • Build segments, KPIs, and calculated fields; activate data for journeys and marketing automation (including Loyalty and external systems)
  • Establish monitoring processes, verify data quality, and ensure stable production operations
  • Stay current with new Salesforce Data Cloud features; share best practices and improvements

Requirements

  • Multi-year project experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (or comparable CDP/data integration/data warehousing technologies)
  • Degree in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Proficiency in data models, SQL, JSON, APIs, and ETL
  • Plus: Experience with Marketing Cloud or Loyalty Cloud
  • Passion for data and Salesforce use cases such as Customer 360, real-time data, segmentation, and activation
  • Salesforce certifications such as Data Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud, or Platform App Builder (or motivation to obtain them soon)
  • Confident use of AI tools; ability to assess results critically
  • Very good German and good English communication skills
