Description

As an intern on the C++ Core Services team, you will help build container-based microservices for core trading infrastructure. You will optimize matching algorithms or overhaul trading applications by applying distributed systems principles, high-performance computing, and multithreading. This is high-performance, mission-critical work with classroom and project-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Build container-based microservices for core infrastructure

• Optimize matching algorithms

• Overhaul trading applications using distributed systems, high-performance computing, and multithreading

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math, or related field

• Passion for C++ development

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern C++ techniques

• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team, own issues, and solve them to completion

• Interested in learning real life financial market and technology

Pay Range

$35–$75 hourly (New York city) based on qualifications and other factors.
