Description

Manage and maintain OT control systems, including backups and software analysis for production environments (Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC). Process operational data for monitoring, support IT/OT project implementation, and help diagnose faults in production equipment and industrial networks. Maintain technical documentation and provide training/support to colleagues and shift technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and back up OT control systems
  • Analyze software projects (Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
  • Collect, find, and process data for operational information gathering
  • Actively participate in the delivery of IT/OT projects
  • Assist in diagnosing faults of technological equipment
  • Implement software changes based on operational requirements
  • Support maintenance, repairs, and modernization of technologies
  • Perform basic diagnostics of industrial networks
  • Propose preventive and corrective measures
  • Maintain technical documentation and records
  • Coordinate with vendors and take over new technologies
  • Train colleagues and support shift technicians

Requirements

  • Service-technician-level knowledge of Siemens control systems (Step7, TIA)
  • Orientation in industrial communication (Profibus, Profinet, AS-i)
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and responsibly
  • Eagerness to learn and further develop
  • Secondary education in electrical engineering
  • Fluent Czech; English sufficient for technical documentation
  • Valid NV 194/2022 Sb §6 certification (formerly NV 50)
