Description

You’ll support the development and integration of automated test machines, including test fixtures for PCB testing and safety/product verification systems. Work across electrical design, networking/switching concepts, hardware architecture selection, and documentation for sales handoff. You will also perform hands-on electro debugging and consult specialists when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and identify what belongs to software vs hardware

• Propose technical solutions (e.g., required test points and contact/interface approach)

• Define which parts are built internally vs delivered by external partners

• Design optimal hardware architecture and select components, measurement cards, and channels

• Create switching and wiring concepts for VPC/network integration; adapt existing customer platforms or build new setups

• Support custom PCB design when required

• Document the solution and collaborate with Sales to finalize proposals

Requirements

• Experience with HW design and electrical wiring/integration

• Basic knowledge of CAN bus

• Basics or experience in data acquisition/data collection

• Basic to slightly advanced knowledge of at least one programming/text language (C#, C/C++, Python, Visual Basic, etc.)

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking (router vs switch, WiFi setup, subnet mask, sockets, ports)

• Basic electronics knowledge (Ohm’s law, basic measurement, diode operation)

• Comfort working with wiring and performing electro debugging in racks/cabinets
