Description

You will build, maintain, and document complex test environments and design and execute system and acceptance tests, including field testing. The role focuses heavily on verification and validation and requires deep expertise in complex IP network structures for protocol analysis and troubleshooting. You will work closely with an Integration & Validation team and development areas to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, further develop, and document complex test environments
• Design and implement system and acceptance test concepts
• Execute field, system, and acceptance tests
• Document and structure test results
• Analyze network protocols and troubleshoot complex IP network structures
• Collaborate closely with Integration & Validation and development teams

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable STEM (MINT) field
• Multi-year professional experience in software testing
• Strong understanding of verification and validation processes
• Hands-on experience operating complex IP network structures (IPv4/IPv6, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS)
• Solid knowledge of routing & switching and protocols OSPF and BGP
• Confident use of Jira-Xray, IBM DOORS, and Wireshark
• Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
