Description

Develop software for in-house designed manufacturing test equipment that ensures products function correctly. Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to support product design and validation, manufacturing line testing, and product launch and ramp-up. Write and maintain test software that communicates with hardware devices and enables continuous improvements for production teams.

What You'll Do

• Solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment

• Contribute to product design and validation beyond core software development

• Write software in Go, LabVIEW, and/or Python to validate products on manufacturing lines

• Communicate with data acquisition systems, mechanical actuators, PLCs, and product interfaces over CAN, UDS, and similar protocols

• Collaborate with engineering disciplines to design test equipment and optimize accuracy, cost, and cycle time

• Build maintainable software for 24/7 production teams and drive continuous improvements

• Advance the software tech stack

• Travel to facilities across the US and worldwide to deploy work

Requirements

• Fluency in at least one object-oriented programming language

• Familiarity with hardware connection protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS, gRPC, Modbus/TCP, TCP/IP, OPCUA)

• Experience working in manufacturing and/or with physical hardware devices

• Experience working with Windows and Linux

• Familiarity with devops and CI/CD tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Familiarity with data pipeline/data visualization tools (e.g., Telegraf, Kafka, Grafana)

• Familiarity with cloud development tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Vault)

• Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience

Expected Compensation

$120,000 - $396,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay may vary based on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and may include other elements depending on the position offered.
