Description

You will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The role combines manual testing, automated end-to-end tests with Playwright, and API testing, with opportunities to improve QA standards and move toward AI-driven testing. You will validate Power Platform business processes, security, integrations, and user experience throughout delivery cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test plans

  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects

  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to resolve issues

  • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright

  • Identify testing scenarios suitable for automation and improve automation coverage

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

  • Participate in defining and improving QA best practices

  • Test Power Platform solutions: Power Apps (model-driven, canvas), Power Automate flows, and Microsoft Dataverse

  • Verify business logic, security roles, integrations, and user experience

  • Perform API testing using Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman

  • Validate integrations between Power Platform and external/enterprise services

  • Support release validation and regression testing

  • Contribute to QA standards, methodologies, and documentation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software testing and QA experience

  • Strong manual testing methodologies

  • Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases

  • Hands-on Playwright automation experience

  • Experience with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI

  • Understanding of API testing concepts and REST services

  • Experience with defect tracking systems (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)

  • Power Platform experience: Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse architecture

  • Ability to validate business processes and enterprise workflows
