Description

You will create, develop, and maintain automated tests for a mobile application and its backend/API services. The position includes REST API automation in a microservices environment, framework maintenance, and diagnosing test failures. Tests will be executed via CI/CD, including runs on physical devices and device farm/device cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain automated tests for a mobile app using Appium + Java
• Automate REST API tests in a microservices environment
• Develop and maintain the existing automation framework
• Analyze test results and diagnose causes of defects
• Run tests in CI/CD pipelines
• Test on physical devices and in device farm/device cloud environments
• Work closely with the developers’ team

Requirements

• Strong experience in mobile application test automation
• Practical knowledge of Appium
• Very good knowledge of Java for automation
• Experience in backend/API automation (REST)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Independence in creating, developing, and diagnosing automated tests
