Description

We are looking for an engaged Simulation Engineer with strong analytical skills and a technical background. You will develop and optimize simulation models, build and improve simulation tools, run quantitative analyses to support investment decisions, and conduct simulation studies.

You will also contribute to data-driven analytics projects in the production environment and help evolve a simulation cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Independently capture requirements with business stakeholders

• Develop simulation models and optimization tools with stakeholders

• Digitally model and optimize complex processes in production and logistics

• Perform quantitative analyses to support investment decisions

• Conduct simulation studies

• Contribute to data-driven analytics projects in production

• Further develop the simulation cloud “Maya”

• Introduce new cross-functional standards

Requirements

• Very strong degree in a mathematically and technically oriented discipline

• Knowledge of process/material flow analysis and simulation

• Experience with simulation tools (AnyLogic, AlFa, Plant Simulation)

• Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, C++, Python

• First experience with Data Analytics, Process Mining, or AI applications (advantage)

• Knowledge in logistics, raw structure, surface, or assembly (advantage)

• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills

• Fluent German and English for professional communication (additional languages are a plus)

• Team-oriented, proactive, and strong communication skills
