Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you ensure delivered software meets requirements and is safe for patients. You will primarily perform requirements-based functional testing for web, mobile, and embedded medical software, with opportunities to expand into test automation depending on the project.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, specifications, and risk analyses to design traceable test cases
  • Execute and maintain functional test suites for web, mobile, and embedded medical software
  • Write and update test specifications, protocols, and reports suitable for audits and regulatory review
  • Report, reproduce, and track defects; verify fixes
  • Partner with developers, business analysts, dev-ops, and external QA teams to agree on acceptance criteria and resolve unclear or conflicting requirements early

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • Strong ability to design, execute, and maintain functional tests derived from written requirements/specifications
  • Ability to review specifications critically to catch gaps, ambiguity, and contradictions
  • Comfort using Jira and a test management tool (Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar)
  • Very good spoken and written English (B2+)
  • Detail-oriented, structured thinking, and clear written communication
  • Willingness to learn programming (Java/Python) and test automation (support will be provided)
