Description

You will join an engineering team building modern cloud data lake and data platform solutions. Work includes creating and launching cloud data pipelines and data models, focusing on data integrity, quality checks, testing, documentation, and data lineage. You will also optimize analytical solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability while supporting CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and production-ready DataOps processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch data pipelines and data models in cloud environments (Azure)
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, discuss solutions, and communicate progress
• Apply best practices for data engineering: integrity, quality checks, testing, documentation, and data lineage
• Optimize analytical solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
• Contribute to cloud architecture design and standards (security, governance, scalability)
• Work with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and production-ready DataOps processes
• Support integrations across BI/ML/DevOps teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering-focused role
• 1+ year of cloud experience (Azure required; AWS or GCP welcome)
• 2+ years of Python for writing clean, production-ready code
• 2+ years of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Understanding of DWH data modeling and ETL/ELT development
• Awareness of cloud architecture, networking, and security concepts
