Description

You will design and build scalable, governed data solutions for a modern enterprise data and analytics mesh, supporting ingestion/ETL/ELT, transformations, data quality, migration, and reporting (regulatory and operational). Work across key Azure analytics services to implement medallion architecture and trusted analytical data products, with monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and DevOps automation. You will also contribute to data governance, lineage, metadata, security, and future AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data solutions for an EDAM (Enterprise Data & Analytics Mesh) platform
  • Develop robust ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines across enterprise sources (e.g., Sapiens, IRIS)
  • Implement medallion architecture, reusable engineering patterns, curated datasets, and trusted analytical data products
  • Build transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration processes with automated data quality checks
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure, production-ready data solutions
  • Support regulatory and operational reporting with accuracy, completeness, traceability, and performance
  • Implement monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and engineering automation using Azure DevOps
  • Contribute to data governance, lineage, metadata, security, and enterprise architecture standards
  • Use AI-assisted and agentic AI tools to enhance engineering, testing, documentation, and SDLC automation
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and mentoring

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial Data Engineering experience
  • Enterprise-scale data pipeline and platform development experience
  • Strong Azure data services experience
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark
  • Strong Azure Data Factory experience
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud analytics platforms
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake / cloud data storage
  • Strong SQL skills for relational and analytical data
  • ETL/ELT development and data integration patterns experience
  • Medallion architecture and modern data platform design knowledge
  • Scalable, reusable, production-ready data engineering frameworks experience
  • Data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring experience
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices experience (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Data governance, metadata, lineage, security, and access control understanding
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Intermediate+ English proficiency
  • Ability to work with business analysts, architects, data analysts, and technical stakeholders
