Description

Work with product development teams as a Scrum Master to improve delivery effectiveness, predictability, and focus on business and customer value. Facilitate Scrum events, support Product Owner backlog quality and refinement, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement using team delivery metrics. Contribute to Agile Center standards and agile working practices during an Agile transformation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective—focusing on decisions, progress inspection, and continuous improvement

• Partner with the Product Owner to improve Product Backlog quality (decomposition of initiatives, MVP, hypotheses, success metrics, priorities, and dependencies)

• Remove blockers limiting workflow flow, time-to-market, and business–IT collaboration

• Work with team metrics: WIP, throughput, cycle time, predictability, Product Backlog quality, and delivered customer value

• Co-create Agile Center standards and team working practices across the Agile transformation

Requirements

• Experience as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or a similar role in product and technology teams

• Practical knowledge of Scrum and the ability to apply it in a complex organizational environment

• Knowledge of the IT delivery lifecycle and the realities of business–IT collaboration

• Ability to work with backlog, priorities, refinement, and preparation of initiatives for planning

• Outcome-oriented mindset and shared accountability for team efficiency

• Strong facilitation skills for discussions and decisions with teams, Product Owners, managers, and business/IT experts

• Courage to identify problems, challenge the status quo, and lead difficult conversations

• Ability to use data and metrics to diagnose issues and design improvements

• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
