Description

You will lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable and secure software solutions, aligning enterprise architecture standards, business requirements, and technology strategy. The role includes technical leadership across development teams, evaluating technologies, and overseeing integration of legacy and modern systems. You will drive Microsoft Azure usage, build Kafka-based event streaming, and use Kubernetes to run microservices at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architectural design and development

• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle—from conception to deployment

• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms (balancing cost and long-term viability)

• Oversee integration of diverse systems, including legacy platforms (e.g., WebLogic, IBM MQ) and modern cloud services

• Champion Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for modular, maintainable solutions aligned to core business domains

• Drive adoption of Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Application Gateway and Azure Cache for Redis for high availability, scalability, and security

• Design and implement event streaming solutions using Kafka for asynchronous communication and real-time processing

• Leverage Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices deployment, scaling, and management

• Define performance and scalability non-functional requirements and ensure architectural designs meet them

• Create and maintain architectural documentation (design specs, diagrams, technical standards)

• Mentor junior architects and developers

• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven commercial Java development experience

• Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies, including performance tuning and schema design

• Experience designing and implementing solutions across modern cloud-native and legacy systems

• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience (Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Cache for Redis)

• Practical Kafka experience for event-driven architectures and event streaming

• Experience with traditional messaging systems such as IBM MQ

• Solid Kubernetes experience for deploying and managing containerized applications

• Experience with WebLogic Server for enterprise Java applications

• Expert Domain-Driven Design (DDD) knowledge and real-world application

• Experience designing RESTful APIs and other integration patterns

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting distributed systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to lead and influence technical teams and stakeholders

• Fluent English (C1 level)
