Description

You will ensure the smooth operation of production and test environments running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. The role includes administering database clusters (MySQL/Percona and PostgreSQL/EDB) and automating administrative tasks with Bash, Python, and Ansible. You will also maintain administrative procedures and technical documentation and collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and test environments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9

• Administer database clusters: MySQL/Percona and PostgreSQL/EDB

• Create and develop automation scripts for administrative tasks using Bash, Python, and Ansible

• Maintain and develop administrative processes and technical documentation

• Work with infrastructure and application teams to deploy and maintain services

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 administration

• Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite

• Experience administering MySQL/Percona database clusters and PostgreSQL/EDB

• Ability to automate administrative tasks with Bash and Python

• Ability to create and update technical documentation
