Description

The Manager will lead the Active IQ engineering team to deliver AI, agentic AI, and intelligent automation capabilities that tackle complex business challenges and drive innovation. You will manage software systems development and quality assurance, guide Agile execution across multiple parallel initiatives, and ensure successful delivery. The role includes partnering with product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to deliver actionable AI-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape engineering strategy, influence execution priorities, and drive measurable outcomes aligned with business and customer needs
• Resolve complex technical issues, improve engineering effectiveness, and establish medium- to long-range plans
• Partner with product management, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to identify opportunities for actionable intelligence and AI-based solutions within Active IQ
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams (senior engineers, experienced engineers, and engineering managers)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required (Master’s preferred)
• 12+ years of experience in the high-tech industry, including prior technical management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Clear understanding of the product development lifecycle and project management practices
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies with experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices
• Experience delivering large, complex software development projects using Agile methodologies
• Experience architecting, implementing, and supporting scalable solutions
• Demonstrated ability to lead senior engineers, experienced engineers, and engineering managers
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in product management, engineering, design, and customer-facing organizations
