Description

Own product quality and support go/no-go release decisions. You will design and maintain end-to-end, API, and integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and use AI tools to generate and maintain tests while critically reviewing their quality and value. You will also investigate production issues through logging and observability tools and feed the learnings back into the test suite.

Responsibilities

• Own product quality and contribute to go/no-go release decisions
• Design and maintain E2E, API, and integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build and improve automated test coverage, focusing on API and service-level testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Use AI tools to generate and maintain tests; critically review quality and value
• Implement reliable test infrastructure (test data, fixtures, contract tests)
• Perform manual and exploratory testing when automation is not the best solution
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to convert requirements into testable scenarios
• Investigate production issues using logging and observability tools and update the test suite

Requirements

• 3+ years of test automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress
• API testing experience (Postman or equivalent)
• Experience with CI/CD
• Understanding of web applications and networking, including CORS
• Experience with databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
• AWS experience and skills in logging, debugging, and observability
• Practical AI tooling experience for development and test automation
• Ability to assess quality risks and make confident release decisions
• English: C1+
