Description

Work with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software products and services using a DevSecOps mindset. You will design, execute, and continuously improve manual testing processes, ensuring coverage from functional and integration tests to exploratory testing through release.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in agile teams/practice teams that promote QA best practices across the domain.
  • Design and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications (iOS, Android, Hybrid).
  • Analyze requirements and user stories to create test scenarios and ensure features are testable.
  • Define and execute test strategies to ensure thorough manual test coverage at multiple levels.
  • Ensure test data is available and relevant; lead exploratory testing when automation is not applicable.
  • Detect, document, and track defects with developers and product teams.
  • Contribute to quality measures where automation has limitations.
  • Partner with Product Owners so requirements align with quality expectations.
  • Support improvements in testing standards, tools, and processes; share QA knowledge with the team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English (and German where required).

Requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience in manual software testing in agile development environments.
  • Ability to design, document, and execute test plans and test cases from business and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or Swagger.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and agile delivery principles (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with cross-platform testing on web and mobile applications.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Upper-intermediate or higher German proficiency (spoken and written).
