• Role: .NET Backend Developer

Description

Join a team building and evolving ATS systems and recruitment workflows at scale, with a strong emphasis on system architecture and production reliability. You’ll actively use AI tools in day-to-day engineering—accelerating prototyping and design—while critically reviewing AI-generated code and making responsible architectural decisions. The role involves designing modular monoliths or microservices, implementing secure integrations, applying DDD, and ensuring observability and incident ownership.

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools to accelerate architecture exploration, prototyping, and boilerplate creation

• Critically evaluate AI-generated code, especially for distributed-systems edge cases

• Own architectural decisions and guide system evolution

• Design and evolve modular monoliths and microservices, including event-driven architectures

• Build reliable integrations with external systems (retries, circuit breakers, versioning)

• Apply DDD to align architecture with business processes

• Design secure-by-default systems (OAuth2, JWT, managed identities, rate limiting)

• Ensure production readiness through observability and incident ownership

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building backend and/or distributed systems

• Strong architectural mindset with hands-on engineering experience

• Fluent English, able and willing to discuss complex technical topics

• Actively coding with AI tools and confident they represent the future of software engineering

• Deep understanding of system reliability, scalability, and failure modes

• High degree of ownership, self-motivation, and proactivity
