Description

Design and maintain internal platforms that enable self-service deployment and management of applications. Create standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline workflows across teams, and lead platform adoption of AI technologies such as GenAI, autonomous agents, and AIOps to improve developer productivity and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal platforms enabling self-service deployment and application management

• Develop standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline cross-team workflows

• Guide adoption of AI technologies on the platform (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps)

• Integrate development tools and services into the platform ecosystem

• Improve developer experience through documentation, training, and platform support

• Implement strategies for high availability, reliability, and performance

• Use DORA metrics to assess and improve software delivery and operational processes

• Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless application support

• Provide technical guidance to resolve platform-related issues and improve system health

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering or related roles

• Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

• Containerization experience using Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep)

• Experience with GitOps tools such as Flux or Argo CD

• Familiarity with cloud resource management tools including Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes

• Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel

• Knowledge of high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems, and hybrid cloud environments

• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python

• Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex system and application issues

• Proficient English communication skills (speaking, writing, reading)
