Description

Lead the design, build, and maintenance of internal platforms that enable development teams to self-serve deployments and manage applications. Drive standardized tools and frameworks, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities (GenAI, intelligent agents, AIOps) to improve automation, reliability, and developer productivity. Ensure platform reliability, high availability, and performance, using DORA metrics to continuously improve development and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal platforms for self-service deployment and application management
• Develop and update standardized tools, libraries, and frameworks to optimize development workflows
• Guide adoption of AI platform capabilities (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps)
• Integrate development tools and services across a platform ecosystem for multiple teams
• Enhance developer experience with documentation, training, and support
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the platform
• Apply DORA metrics to assess and improve development and operational processes
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate emerging technologies
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate applications
• Provide technical guidance to resolve platform issues and improve system health

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Container technologies experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep)
• GitOps solutions experience (Flux or ArgoCD)
• Familiarity with Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes
• Experience with internal developer platforms (Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel)
• Understanding of high availability and high-performance multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments
• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across system resources and the application stack
• Knowledge of native AI cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI)
• Ability to design, build, and operate AI agents and agentic frameworks
• Coding agent tooling experience (Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity)
• Proficient English communication skills
