Description

In the R&D team, Data Scientists turn complex player data into analyses, experiments, and insights that shape what the product will build next. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams, translating business questions into analytical problems and providing clear recommendations to Product Management. You may build segmentation models, design A/B tests, and explain results to team leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Own analytical problem solving end-to-end: understand product/data needs, collect requirements, plan the process, and deliver conclusions and recommendations.

  • Work with data engineers to design, build, and maintain game data pipelines aligned with reporting and analytics requirements.

  • Perform complex exploratory and statistical analyses in Python (including segmentation and, when needed, clustering/modeling/simulation).

  • Create visualizations and build numerical intuition for colleagues who don’t work with data daily.

  • Set KPIs and implement A/B tests to optimize player income throughout the game lifecycle.

  • Organize your work, support a junior analyst, manage priorities/requirements/estimates, and lead 1–2 meetings per week.

  • Proactively share insights, suggest process improvements, and help shape analytics practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence.

  • Strong practical experience with Python (analytical libraries, clean reusable code, Git for version control).

  • Working knowledge of SQL (Postgres and Vertica).

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical thinking and critical problem-solving.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented approach.

  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights.

  • Degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related).

  • Passion for games and genuine interest in the gaming industry.

  • Fluent in English and Polish.

Benefits

  • Real product impact with analytical work that delivers quickly measurable results.

  • Hands-on experience with a modern technology stack and large-scale data (tens of terabytes; millions of active players).

  • Learning and development opportunities through close collaboration with experienced Senior Analysts and the Head of R&D within a supportive team.
