Senior Data Analyst

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a large-scale analytics project combining advanced data analysis with real business impact. You will work with complex datasets, lead analytical initiatives end-to-end, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to turn data into actionable recommendations.

This role is a great fit for someone who combines strong hands-on Python and SQL skills with a proactive, business-oriented approach and enjoys taking ownership of analytical topics from identifying the opportunity to presenting the final recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets using Python and SQL
• Lead analytical initiatives end-to-end, from identifying business needs to delivering insights and recommendations
• Build analytical tools and automation solutions supporting business decision-making
• Analyze customer behavior, traffic, revenue, and commercial performance to identify trends and optimization opportunities
• Develop scenarios and assess the potential business impact of changes and new initiatives
• Create dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable tools
• Translate complex data into clear and actionable business recommendations
• Proactively identify new analytical opportunities and propose data-driven solutions
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders across multiple areas
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to managers and senior stakeholders
• Take ownership of analytical projects, including defining the approach, engaging relevant stakeholders, and driving delivery

Must-have

• At least 4 years of professional experience in data analytics
• Strong hands-on Python skills for data analysis and processing
• Very good SQL skills and ability to write complex queries independently
• Commercial experience working with large datasets and mature data environments
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
• Proven ability to independently lead analytical projects end-to-end
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into concrete business recommendations
• Proactive approach and ability to identify problems and opportunities independently
• Strong stakeholder management and business communication skills
• Experience presenting analytical insights and recommendations to managerial stakeholders
• Very good command of Polish (min. C1) and English (min. B2+/C1)

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and Composer
• Experience with Airflow or PySpark
• Experience with Looker or Looker Studio
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub
• Experience building data models or analytical datasets for business users
• Practical experience with AI, Agentic AI, or Machine Learning solutions for analytics and automation
• Experience in pricing or commercial analytics
• Experience in Advertising, AdTech, e-commerce, or marketing analytics
• Experience in banking, consulting, FMCG, or another large-scale data-driven organization
