Description

You will own and drive the end-to-end architecture—from raw data ingestion to AI-powered advisory outputs—while defining clear contracts across data, ontology/graph layers, a financial DSL, LLM/tool/agent layers, and the user experience. The role focuses on governed architecture (documented ADR/RFC), robust verification/auditability, and responsible AI principles such as transparency, traceability, and controlled capability exposure. You will collaborate closely with engineering and compliance stakeholders to meet regulatory, technical, and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end architecture from ingestion to AI advisory outputs
• Define and enforce contracts across data assets, ontology/graph structures, financial DSL, LLM gateway, tool gateway, agent layer, and UX
• Design systems with strong governance and documented architectural decisions (ADR/RFC)
• Build and deliver hands-on solutions, iterating incrementally while preserving architectural consistency and quality
• Implement robust verification mechanisms, including formal validation (where applicable), runtime checks, and auditability
• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and client stakeholders on regulatory, technical, and business alignment
• Maintain defensible responsible-AI architecture (transparency, traceability, controlled capability exposure)

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI Engineering or a related role
• Hands-on Python development experience, including FastAPI, asyncio, pytest, type hints, and monorepo structure
• Experience designing and implementing AI agent orchestration (LLM gateways, tool gateways, SSE/WebSocket streaming, agent-to-platform contracts)
• Understanding of responsible AI governance (capability boundaries, approval workflows, disclosure, audit traceability, regulatory control mapping)
• Production experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Rigorous testing experience (unit, integration, UAT/BDD) with enforced code coverage thresholds (≥90%)
• Proficiency with modern AI tooling (prompt engineering; Cursor; MCP servers; CLI automation such as GitLab/Jira)
• Observability experience using OpenTelemetry and Grafana or Phoenix, plus structured logging
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+)
