Data & AI Consulting Manager (Consumer & Retail, German Market)

Senior • On-site

Warsaw, Poland

Quick Facts

  • Role focus: Data & AI consulting leadership for Consumer & Retail clients (German market)
  • Key themes: predictive analytics and AI use cases, from discovery and business case to production and adoption

Description

You will lead engagements end-to-end as a Data & AI Consultant/Manager, bridging senior client stakeholders with engineering and data science teams. The work focuses on advanced and predictive analytics plus AI—forecasting, elasticity modeling, scenario simulations, causal attribution, and generative AI use cases. You will own whether the right approaches are selected and measured to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Shape proposals and pursuits: define the problem, scope the approach, and build a value narrative
  • Lead discovery workshops with commercial, category, and supply chain leaders to frame the real problem and define outcomes
  • Build business cases: identify, prioritize, and size data and AI use cases; define KPIs, investment rationale, and delivery roadmaps for sign-off
  • Own the workstream end-to-end: requirements, backlog, data readiness, governance, and value tracking through adoption
  • Brief the builders by aligning Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Solution Architects on the “what” and “why”
  • Deliver executive-level materials and present recommendations throughout the engagement
  • Drive commercial analytics work such as pricing & promotions and optimization (e.g., elasticity and promotional effectiveness)

Requirements

  • Deep Consumer & Retail expertise with concrete examples of measurable business impact
  • Consulting experience with structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and executive-level communication
  • Data and AI literacy to define data requirements and KPIs and translate between business and technical audiences
  • End-to-end agile delivery experience through adoption into recurring planning/commercial processes
  • Working knowledge of the CPG data landscape: transaction/order, product, customer/CRM/loyalty, syndicated/panel data (NIQ/Nielsen, Circana, Kantar), retailer POS/portal feeds, and distributor sell-out
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership for outcomes
  • Fluent in German is a strong advantage (not strictly mandatory); ability to engage with clients in German preferred

Benefits

  • Supportive team and agile, startup-like culture; hybrid work with remote opportunity within Poland
  • Opportunity to work abroad up to 60 days annually and business-driven relocation opportunities
  • Growth programs, mentoring, soft skills and well-being programs; certification support (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • English classes
  • Stable pay and participation in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15% discount
  • Benefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers) and referral bonuses up to $2,000
  • Offices with entertainment/relaxation areas and amenities (table tennis, football, snacks, coffee)
  • Corporate, social, and well-being events
