Description

You will be a senior engineer with a strong Developer Experience mindset, improving how developers build, test, and ship software. You will own end-to-end improvements to the internal developer platform, tooling, automation, and CI/CD—finding root causes and building workflows that make the problem disappear. This is not a traditional DevOps production-operations or incident-response role.

Responsibilities

• Improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines and shorten feedback loops
• Make development environments reliable and easy to work with
• Automate repetitive manual work
• Build internal tools, services, CLI utilities, dashboards, and self-service interfaces
• Improve visibility into systems developers depend on
• Solve flaky builds, tests, and recurring engineering bottlenecks
• Manage system upgrades and security updates

Requirements

• Several years of experience solving developer productivity, platform, or infrastructure workflow problems
• Senior-level ability to own improvements end to end
• Strong technical depth, hands-on experience, and systems thinking
• Root-cause orientation (solve underlying problems, not symptoms)
• Fluent Czech or Slovak with communicative English
