Description

Reporting into the ED, US Business Strategy Lead, this role leads day-to-day strategy engagements within US Business Strategy. You will translate pillar-lead agendas into structured projects, aligned stakeholders, decision-ready recommendations, and high-quality execution handoffs. The Director owns engagements across US commercial enterprise strategy development, functional strategy alignment, strategic planning, market and competitive synthesis, and LT decision options.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic framing including issue trees, hypotheses, opportunity sizing, and US commercial enterprise strategy narratives

• Coordinate functional strategy inputs and pressure-test alignment with US commercial enterprise priorities

• Synthesize market, customer, competitor, policy, portfolio, financial, and operating model inputs into clear strategic choices

• Prepare LT-ready recommendations, strategic options, and trade-off narratives

• Coach AD and Manager resources and ensure executive-quality analyses, narratives, and stakeholder processes

• Own workplan, stakeholder alignment, synthesis quality, recommendations, and handoff quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred)

• 8+ years of consulting/corporate strategy/commercial strategy/strategic operations/transformation or relevant pharma/healthcare experience

• Demonstrated ability to lead 1–2 complex strategy engagements concurrently with senior stakeholders and ambiguous scope

• Strong hypothesis-driven problem solving, facilitation, storylining, analytical synthesis, and ability to influence without authority
