Description

You will analyze, evaluate, and continuously develop the company’s SAP system landscape—including interfaces, infrastructure, and authorizations. You’ll drive optimization and digitalization measures to improve costs, processes, and quality, working closely with business departments to translate requirements into SAP solutions. The role also supports ongoing operations and includes (partial) project leadership for SAP S/4HANA introduction and migration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the SAP landscape (interfaces, infrastructure, authorizations)

  • Adapt existing applications and integrate new functionality

  • Implement optimization and digitalization initiatives focused on cost, process, and quality improvements

  • Identify, analyze, and clarify business requirements with specialist departments through close collaboration

  • (Partially) lead projects and actively participate in SAP S/4HANA rollout and migration

  • Ensure day-to-day operations, including error analysis, incident/change management, and performance optimization

  • Create concepts, documentation, status reports; conduct integration testing and UAT

  • Train, support, and consult end users

  • Develop technical solutions with the IT team to optimize processes and integrate relevant SAP components

  • Develop and maintain EDI interfaces and integrate external systems

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business informatics, business administration, computer science, or comparable training

  • Multi-year SAP experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO; ideally also SD/MM

  • Experience with SAP customizing

  • Experience with EDI and interface technologies

  • Understanding of core business processes (finance, production, logistics, controlling)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working style

  • Good communication skills and teamwork ability

  • Very good German and English (written and spoken)

  • Willingness to travel
