Description

You will design, debug, and deploy software that automates validation of Tesla circuit boards controlling hundreds of devices across vehicle electrical systems. You will collaborate with firmware, hardware, reliability, and manufacturing teams to define test plans, write communication drivers, and deliver production-quality, robust code. The role also uses AI tools to rapidly accelerate software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, debug, and deploy software to automate circuit board validation
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, reliability, and manufacturing teams to define test plans
• Write drivers to communicate with integrated circuits (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, etc.)
• Understand circuit board schematics and technical documentation
• Deliver robust, production-quality code
• Use AI tools to speed up development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Strong proficiency using AI tools to accelerate development
• Electrical engineering fundamentals knowledge (analog and digital circuits)
• Ability to interpret circuit board schematics and technical documentation
• Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, multimeters, etc.)
• Exceptional organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to tackle open-ended challenges using first principles
