Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize operating-system components, drivers, and service tools for PC scales on Linux (x86/ARM). You will also implement and extend C++ applications with Qt, support build and CI/CD pipelines, and help with security and feature updates. The role includes collaboration in interdisciplinary international teams and participation in agile workflows with code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize OS components, drivers, and service tools for PC scale systems on Linux (x86/ARM)

• Implement and extend C++ applications using Qt

• Support build and CI/CD pipeline maintenance and further development (e.g., Jenkins or Azure DevOps)

• Assist with regular security and feature updates

• Contribute to virtualization and containerization efforts (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes)

• Work with interdisciplinary teams in an international environment

• Apply agile practices such as Scrum or SAFe, document results, and participate in code reviews

Requirements

• Completed studies in software development or comparable qualification

• First to multiple years of practical experience in software development

• Strong C++ knowledge, ideally including the Qt framework

• Experience in Linux environments

• Ability to learn new topics and operate in a flexible environment

• Very good German and good English skills
