Description

Quality Systems Engineer role supporting the Energy Remanufacturing team by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems. You will execute an ISO 9001 audit plan, drive cross-functional compliance improvements, and lead quality problem-solving with measurable corrective actions. The role also manages calibration requirements and helps drive quality KPIs and continual improvement of the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the execution of the ISO 9001 audit plan for Energy Remanufacturing
  • Drive cross-functional programs to implement changes in compliance with the Quality Management System and identify improvement areas
  • Support problem-solving by analyzing failure modes, driving timely corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring permanent resolution
  • Manage multiple cross-functional action items; align stakeholder expectations and build consensus on changes
  • Maintain a strong track record of training and developing teams to foster quality awareness and accountability
  • Help drive quality KPIs, including SCAR cycle time metrics and other operational measurements
  • Organize and schedule calibration requirements for monitoring and measuring devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional and timeline requirements
  • Thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to achieve shared quality objectives
  • Drive continual improvement of the quality systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, etc.) or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in ISO 9001 and auditing
  • Demonstrated success applying quality problem-solving methods (e.g., fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE, SPC)
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality/Operations engineering position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or equivalent experience
  • Ability to establish and enforce operational standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Understanding and ability to implement lean manufacturing principles
  • Power electronics manufacturing experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
