Description

Lead development, integration, and support of the Calypso Back Office platform for capital markets back-office systems. You will design, develop, test, and implement platform enhancements, interfaces, workflows, and integrations, while ensuring stability, operational efficiency, and compliance with risk, regulatory, and audit requirements. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and partner with Operations and Finance to improve reliability and resolve complex production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and support of the Calypso Back Office platform
• Design, develop, test, and implement Calypso enhancements, interfaces, workflows, and integrations
• Ensure platform stability, operational efficiency, and compliance with risk, regulatory, and audit requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across trade processing, settlements, accounting, and integrations
• Drive process improvements, automation, and optimization of back-office operations and controls
• Partner across Operations, Finance, Production Support, and Platform Engineering to deliver initiatives and maintain reliability
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring; lead project delivery across cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders and influence technical direction for the Calypso Back Office ecosystem

Requirements

• 5+ years Specialty Software Engineering experience (or equivalent)
• 5+ years hands-on enterprise application development using Java/J2EE
• 5+ years experience designing and supporting integrations using APIs, messaging, and batch interfaces
• 5+ years experience troubleshooting complex production issues in a high-availability environment
• 5+ years experience across SDLC, application architecture, testing, release management, and production support
• 5+ years experience leading complex initiatives and mentoring software engineers
