Description

Work with a Global Retailing, Softlines & Luxury Brands equity research team covering consumer-oriented retailers. You will develop financial models, run valuation and financial analysis, and conduct proprietary research to support impactful stock calls and client inquiries. The role also expects strong use of AI tools to improve team efficiency and excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update financial models efficiently

• Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies

• Execute proprietary research projects that generate impactful stock calls

• Assist with client requests and inquiries

• Generate ideas

• Maintain databases and create tables and charts

• Leverage AI to improve efficiency and productivity

• Participate in company management calls and conferences

• Track relevant news articles and relay key messages to the team

• Closely follow industry and economic data

Requirements

• 2–5 years of equity research or investment banking experience

• Background in finance and accounting

• Strong modeling/Excel capabilities

• Ability to integrate modeling skills into new AI tools

• Superior writing skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for businesses, equities, and financial markets

• Initiative, drive, and motivation to learn

• Ability to work as part of a team and incorporate constructive feedback

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends when needed

• Detail-oriented

• Consumer/TMT/internet experience is a plus (not required)

• Expected base salary range: $110,000–$175,000
