Description

You will help plan and implement cloud solutions in PaaS and container environments, designing and operating container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. You will automate configuration and deployments for private and public cloud target environments, support the cloud team by sharing knowledge and best practices, and contribute to cloud standards and new approaches. The role also includes acting as an enabler for responsible AI use within your scope.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement cloud solutions in PaaS and container environments
• Design and implement container platforms (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• Automate configuration and deployments in private/public cloud target environments
• Support the cloud team and share technology knowledge and best practices
• Bring ideas to the cloud community and help develop standards
• Drive further development of new approaches and technologies

Requirements

• Completed IT-related degree or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as Cloud Architect or Engineer in Public and/or Hybrid Cloud projects
• Familiarity with Helm Charts, ArgoCD, Vault, and Git
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and cloud implementations
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Ansible
• Ideally: architecture certifications from hyperscalers, software vendors, or foundations (e.g., Red Hat, CNCF)
• Deep AI expertise; contribute to shaping responsible AI use in your responsibility area
• Very good German and good English skills for secure communication
