Description

Operate and continuously improve the Fortinet firewall infrastructure (including FortiManager), including IDS/IPS configuration and maintenance. Design and implement network segmentation strategies to increase IT security resilience and administer the Zscaler SASE platform (ZIA/ZPA). Ensure security-relevant requirements are met according to legal obligations (especially DORA) while maintaining security documentation and policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and further develop Fortinet firewall infrastructure (including FortiManager)

• Configure and maintain IDS/IPS functions in the Fortinet environment

• Concept and implement network segmentation strategies for higher IT security resilience

• Administer the Zscaler SASE platform (ZIA/ZPA)

• Implement security requirements according to legal/regulatory rules (particularly DORA)

• Create and maintain technical documentation and security guidelines/policies

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in MINT subjects

• Practical experience in network security with focus on firewall technologies (Fortinet) and network segmentation

• Experience with Zscaler products (ZIA/ZPA)

• Practical knowledge of administering IDS/IPS on Fortinet firewalls

• Good knowledge of relevant security standards; ideally experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA)

• Secure communication in German and English

• Independent and structured way of working
