The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional technical leadership, operational management skills, and proficiency in firewall configurations, troubleshooting, and compliance adherence.Main Responsibilities:Configuring and managing firewall settings.Optimizing firewall performance.Conducting continuous monitoring and analysis.Testing and validating firewall configurations.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Performing quality assurance and troubleshooting based on FI-TS processes.Implementing changes following established processes.Documenting configurations according to guidelines.Key Requirements:Check Point CCSE certification or higher.Fortinet NSE 4 certification or higher.Preferred knowledge of ITIL.Experience in technical leadership and mentoring, particularly with nearshore teams.Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.Desirable knowledge of Ansible/Python and CheckMK.Other DetailsThis position will provide operational responsibility within RUN, focusing on configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Candidates should be prepared for on-call availability and must possess strong leadership capabilities to guide the Network Engineers in firewall operations.
