Senior Data Architect (f/m/x)

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a strategic data transformation initiative focused on building and governing a modern Azure-based Data Platform that supports enterprise-wide data products, analytics, and reporting.

Your tasks

• Define and govern end-to-end Azure data architecture, including data ingestion, integration, transformation, and Medallion architecture standards.
• Lead the design and development of scalable Data Products and guide engineering teams on best practices for ETL/ELT, streaming, and data integration.
• Drive the modernization of legacy reporting and data warehouse solutions, including migration from SSIS and SSAS environments to modern Azure architectures.
• Provide architectural oversight for supplier-managed SaaS/COTS applications, ensuring secure onboarding, compliance, and technical alignment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to support platform evolution, security initiatives, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Architect or in a similar architecture leadership role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks, streaming technologies, data integration patterns, Medallion architecture, and Data Product design principles.
• Strong programming and data engineering skills in Python, Spark, and SQL.
• Very good command of English.
• A visit to the Wrocław office is required once every quarter.

Nice-to-have requirements

• Experience with Power BI and API Gateways.
