Description

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can move fluidly across the primary application—PHP on the backend and TypeScript on the frontend—taking real ownership from first commit through production and beyond. This isn’t a ticket taking role; you scope your own work, make technical and product tradeoffs, and are accountable for outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features end-to-end across the primary app: backend logic in PHP (Symfony, Laminas), frontend using React and TypeScript, and everything connecting them
  • Own your projects past “done”: monitor what you ship, respond when it breaks, and iterate based on real usage data
  • Instrument new and existing systems with proper observability (metrics, logs, tracing) so problems surface before customers report them
  • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, e2e) as a default part of shipping
  • Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as a standard part of your workflow
  • Contribute to infrastructure as code for the services you own using Terraform and Helm charts
  • Set up and tune alerting for the systems you’re responsible for
  • Work directly with product and other engineers to define problems, not just implement specs
  • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and practices and push adoption of what raises the bar

Requirements

  • Full stack proficiency with solid, production-level experience across both backend and frontend; comfortable owning services end-to-end
  • Hands-on cloud experience with at least one of GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • IaC experience; Terraform strongly preferred (CloudFormation, SST, Pulumi, or similar also counts)
  • Observability experience: instrumented systems, built dashboards, or debugged production issues using metrics, logs, tracing
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from idea (or inherited mess) through to a stable, monitored, production state
  • Product engineer mindset focused on user and business outcomes; comfortable pushing back on specs
  • Automation discipline with strong testing habits and real experience using AI coding agents; track record of building alerting
  • 5+ years operating at a senior level, ideally including leading a complex project end to end; mentored other engineers or led a technical initiative before
  • Fluent in English
